I wish I could say this was an awesome book but it just didnt intrige me as much as I had hoped. The story had lots of mistery, twists and turns, that I did like but then more aspects/mysteries kept getting added, without really solving anything. Althought, one mystery was solved at the end regarding sister, but just added more layers to the mystery. The ball at Prince Glutteny, that was interesting and well written, lots to visualize. Emilia and Wrath, definantly have chemistry in the book and the few romantic scenes they have are brief but good. If your looking for lots of romance and sex scenes, this book didnt have that many but they were good and well written. I was really frustrated about the clif-hanger....it had to stop right at a bedroom scene, before the fun started. I can really see how this would be frustrating if you have to wait for book 3, at least I waited to read until I had all three.
I think for me, I didnt find this book as fun as I had hoped because I forgot this aspect from the first book....it only has Emilia's narrative thorought the book. You never really know what Wrath is up too, when he leaves the room (happened a lot) what he is think. I realize its part of the mystery side to this book, but for me it got a little frustrating. I just felt like something was missing and I think its his side of the story.
Its a trilogy, so Im hoping book #3 is better.
