Together they will rise. Or together they will fall.

The epic finale to the #1 bestselling Throne of Glass series by Sarah J. Maas.

Aelin Galathynius has vowed to save her people-but at a tremendous cost. Locked in an iron coffin by the Queen of the Fae, Aelin must draw upon her fiery will as she endures months of torture. The knowledge that yielding to Maeve will doom those she loves keeps her from breaking, but her resolve unravels with each passing day.

With Aelin captured, her friends and allies have scattered. Some bonds will grow even deeper, while others will be severed forever. But as destinies weave together at last, all must stand together if Erilea is to have any hope of salvation.

Sarah J. Maas's #1 bestselling Throne of Glass series draws to an explosive conclusion as Aelin fights for her life, her people, and the promise of a better world.

There are not enough stars to convey how amazing this book is, both on its own and as a conclusion to the Throne of Glass saga. It is truly a masterpiece. I finished this book late last night and woke up thinking about it first thing this morning. My brain chemistry is forever altered. The way SJM takes all of the characters, who have been on their own journeys and are scattered across the continent, and brings it all back together to conclude the story in a way that makes sense for each and every one of them is top tier. That is no easy task, just ask George RR Martin. This book will live in my heart forever and is hands down one of the best books I’ve ever seen. I could write a novel going into detail about this book and series. The women are the center of the stories here and I fucking loved it. Which is not to say the males are not important and don’t do important things. They are and they do. And they support the female characters and stand at their sides, never in front of them, to whatever end. But the females are the heart of the story. The female characters are diverse, complex, strong, clever, and courageous. Seeing so many strong women doing the most did something to my soul. And the “unsung” women who helped get them there, the way SJM mentions them and calls back to sacrifices they made to give our characters a chance needs to be studied. Fighting for a better world, for them and everyone. The Throne of Glass series has it all and anyone who doesn’t give this series a chance is missing out on one of the greatest works of storytelling ever written.

Perfect ending. Almost every lose thread was weaved in again. I didn’t cry as much as with ACOWAR war scenes, but loved the drama and all the turns
