Finally, I am done!!!!!!!!! I'm sorry I feel like this series could have been written in 3 books. Don't get me wrong the story was good but I felt like there was SO MUCH extra stuff that was not needed. I almost gave up a few times but I wanted to see how it ended.

The only book to ever make me cry, both in grief and joy. An absolute masterpiece to end a thrilling journey.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️♾️ kingdom of ash was a full-body experience. the weight of everything that came before comes crashing down in this final installment, and i felt every second of it. it’s long, it’s brutal, it’s full of sacrifice and love and grief and hope all tangled together. it is a very intense final book and no one gets through this unscarred. it’s war in every form including on the battlefield, in the heart, and in the soul. and the emotional payoff is massive. aelin’s trama was so so painful and impactful. seeing her stripped down to nothing not only physically but also emotionally, magically and still fighting with everything she had was powerful. that’s the kind of heroine i’ll never forget. and it wasn’t just her. every single character-chaol, dorian, manon, aedion, lysandra, rowan, yrene, elide, lorcan—had their moment. they all carried something heavy, and they all fought like hell. there were so many scenes that felt like the end of the world and the beginning of something new. the battles were intense and cinematic, but it was the quiet moments that hit me the hardest. the reunions, the sacrifices, the little acts of love buried between chaos. there were scenes that made me cry and scenes that healed me. it’s not a perfect ending tied with a bow it’s earned. kingdom of ash was the most emotional goodbye to characters who’ve grown with me over this month. and when i turned the final page, i just sat there, teary and speechless. this book wrecked me in the best way, and i wouldn’t have it any other way. This series is in my TOP 3!! would recommend to anyone!

Holy brimstone! This book had me in a chokehold! I absolutely ugly cried when I got to Chapter 96! IYKYK 😭😭 😭😭😭Live Manon! This book had me riding all the emotions you could ever have. By far the best book in the whole series with Empire of Storms coming in second! The amount of sobbing and screaming at my phone I did for this story was unreal. Truly the best series Sarah J. Mass has written. I love all her series but this takes the cake. A true fantasy work of art! Yes it’s a slow journey till book 4 but man so worth it in the end. I’m truly sad that it’s over. So many scenes still running through my head that I can’t read anything else right now. So I’m off to watch a movie. I would say I finished the book BUT the book finished me!! 🥹 In a good way of course lol. A MUST READ!
