Giving it a 5 because it's the 4th book to memory to make me cry! (That's major star points in my opinion). However I was expecting more heartbreak from what everyone kept emphasizing to me over and over. If I had ignored everyone's input, I wouldn't have had such high expectations for intense gut wrenching heartbreak at the end. All that aside, I really enjoyed being shocked with a twist every few pages! I cried in chapter 89. That was absolutely destructive to the soul...

"You do not yield". A heartbreaking conclusion to the epic tale. I enjoyed every twist, every plot, every scheme. The words that filled 900+ pages, was worth it. I laughed, cried, yelled at the book, it gave all the feels and all the vibes. Manon will always be my favorite, here story had so much growth. All of the characters that were so vivid on the pages, I am sad its over. It will be awhile before I even attempt a re-read.

I'll start my saying I loved this book, I love the series and that's why I've given it 5 stars. HOWEVER it absolutely does not need to be as long as it is, the first quarter of the book was a bit of a drag for me if I'm honest.

The last quarter thoroughly made up for it though, it was action packed and had me in tears for a good while. I think some of the characters got done so dirty and I don't love that for them, but I also hate a book that has a happy ending for everyone so I get it.
