WOW. I did not think I’d love this series as much as I did. I purposely never picked it up because it was so long but I wish I had picked it up sooner. It’s BEAUTIFUL, it’s emotional, devastating. I enjoyed it much more than ACOTAR. The fantasy in this book is a lot more in depth in my opinion, while romance is a sub-plot. But the love, the friendship, loyalty these characters have for each other throughout this entire series is UNMATCHED. Every single thing that happened in all of these books connected so perfectly in Kingdom of Ash. Aelin, Manon, Yrene, Elide, Ansel, Lysandra, the 13, all these amazing strong beautiful female main characters have inspired me in so many ways. I’ll never forget them. Rowan, Dorian, Chaol, Lorcan, Aedion, Fenrys, Gavriel, literally have my whole heart, Sam I love you so much too. I will think about these fictional characters in this fictional world for the rest of my life.
The first 2 books were my toughest to get into but MAN, this journey changed my life and KOA was the absolute most gut wrenching one of the entire series, close to assassins blade. 10 STARS

Finally, I am done!!!!!!!!! I'm sorry I feel like this series could have been written in 3 books. Don't get me wrong the story was good but I felt like there was SO MUCH extra stuff that was not needed. I almost gave up a few times but I wanted to see how it ended.

Usually I write a big review so that my thoughts are thoroughly conveyed. This time I am speechless. Never have I ever read something that completely wrecked me like this book has done. And yet, I feel renewed and ready for the future. Every single page was worth it.
