Such a great novella to go along with the Good Girl's Guide to Murder series!! Although this book is supposed to prequel the first book, you can read it during the series and still enjoy it. Pip is invited to a murder mystery party. Everyone is playing a different character and it is their mission to figure out who is the killer among them. Throughout the book, you are trying to solve the mystery along with the characters and it is clear to see why this inspired Pip to do as she does in the first book of the series. It was super fun to read and I wish there were companies that made things like this too. Seems like such a fun time!

If this wasn’t so short it would have been a DNF. I’ll be regretting buying a physical copy of this for long time.

LOVED. Definitely got me on my toes. Thought I was interesting when they played it as if someone died, even when they didn’t. I kept thinking someone would die. But turns out it was just a murder mystery party. Was quite interested when pip said she saw someone in the basement

I enjoyed this prequel to how it all started for Pip. She surely has the right skills for detective work that’s for sure!
