Holly J can do no wrong in my eyes. Loved the second instalment in this 3 part series. If you’re a true crime girlie like me you’ll like this book but also the series. It follows pippa who runs a TC podcast called “A good girls guide to murder” birthed from the events of the 1st book - no spoilers go read it! Pip promised she’d hung up her detective boots for good but that was until her friends’ brother Jamie goes missing. Pip makes the hard choice to help find Jamie, dead or alive… Full review on @__thebookspace

Wow! I thought A Good Girl's Guide to Murder was good but this one held up to the same level. I love the format and full-cast audio and definitely recommend to experience these books through audio.

Pip is so good and uncovering secrets and revealing the truth. The ending was a shock and I definitely didn't see any of it coming. I enjoyed this from start to finish and can't wait to read the next one!

To be honest, the plot in the early chapters was good but in my opinion there was nothing interesting that made me think this book would be 4 stars ( • ᴖ • 。 ) But the plot twists are kind of crazy and the last few chapters gave me a hard time (ᗒᗣᗕ)՞ I cried and sobbed so much that I had to stop several times before I finished this book (╥﹏╥) which is why I gave it full stars (*ᴗ͈ˬᴗ͈)ꕤ*.゚ I would definitely recommend it too! It's worth it! ⸜(。˃ ᵕ ˂ )⸝♡

Absolutely amazing. The story was gripping, the mystery mysterious, and the characters relatable and understandable. Spoilers: The CPR was written extremely well, and I'm glad it didn't fall into the common media portrayal of "two light presses somewhere on the chest, and the person wakes up perfectly fine." The PTSD Pip clearly was suffering from at the end of the book seemed accurate, but I'm not an expert.
