Finishing this book I re-remembered my deep love for Claire Contreras. She was part of the top 5 indie romance authors that got me hooked on reading back in 2011, 2012.
This is the perfect second chance, brother's best friend romance.
Throughout the years they have always found little ways to connect. They would connect with either deep conversations, steamy kisses, hook ups, you name it, they could not stop their attraction to each other.
After the FMC looses her fiance, the turn of events sets off the couples fate. I enjoyed the realistic approach the couple had to each other. It starts off with steamy little moments that lead to deep conversations, that end up being a connection that cannot be hidden anymore.
The angst in here was just right, the comedy was perfect, this whole book read like a wonderfully deep non cheesy romance movie.
I would love to see this on the screen.
