I was led by my excessive love for all things Tarzan to check this book out (not the audio CD), and I'm sorry I wasted the time. It is poo; the author has changed most of the major plot points, most irritatingly her transformation of D'Arnot into a drunken flunky, as well as the Ayla-like portrayal of Jane as the agent of all major events. And even all this I could have accepted if the book had been fun to read, but it was clunky and dull too. Give it a miss!
