I Think I Might Love You (Love Sisters)

Jaclyn Love is a magnet for trouble - it seems to follow her wherever she goes.Unfortunately for Kadan Davenport, she also seems to be a magnet for him - even after a disastrous first impression that leaves him - literally - black and blue.Jaclyn is busy trying to find some sort of balance, and Kadan is just trying not to get swept up in the chaos. In a small city like Blakewood, it's hard to avoid each other... especially when each additional encounter makes them wonder if they really want to. "I Think I Might Love You" is a first-in-series novella.

This book was posted in my BGRT group and it immediately caught my eye. I was like “ummm who blacked his eye”. The poster said “you have to read it but it happened in the first five pages”. Well my drama loving tail ran to my kindle app the stars aligned as its on Kindle Unlimited. I don’t typically go for short reads but I love love and romance so I said “try something new”. Thank goodness I did. I was at work just a cackling! Let’s get into it, young black woman, business owner, student, dramaaaaa magnet!! Poor baby! The foundation was there loving parents, support system, sisters but Jac and her temper kept her in some mess. Now between you and me I support what she did to Vic’s behind but I stan her momma because ALWAYS CHECK FOR CAMERAS. Ima let y’all read about Miss Thing in the bowl of chicken and Kaden’s response because I howled you hear me! Hearing the banter between Jac’s parents segued nicely to Jay’s later assessment about the two and I concur, Jac and Kadan were perfect for each other.

Now we may never know if the ice cream mix up was on accident or on purpose but drama follows jac so of course Kaden feels she did it on purpose. Personally I think it was an accident because she didn’t play about her business. The get back though! Nahhh! In the words of Jay-Z he ain’t have to get her back like THAT. I’ma let y’all read about the Judge and this wench named Deidre but Jac couldn’t catch a break. Sis was stressed! All in all Jac did it! She graduated, her business had lines out the doors, Miss Thing was thriving. All while accidently found a great guy being her authentic self! A communicative one at that! An understanding one! A I’ve been in your shoes one! He may bruise easily but I think they love each other too…
