This was a great read.
I really enjoyed the premise, she's a hairstylist and hair braider. He has done the work to ensure he's far away from the street life as a successful restaurateur. They have instant attraction to instant steam. Their journey though I felt like was overstuffed? There's the navigation of friends with benefits, the issues with her job, the issues with his grimy uncle, then some female drama. I think the author could have stuck to maybe one or two of those obstacles and the book would have felt whole.
BUT I still was able to love the journey and feel fully invested. The friend group is so amazing, I love a great friend group!
