Her Husband's Harlot: Mayhem in Mayfair, Book 1

🎧AUDIO REVIEW🎧 I read this book some years ago and remembered loving it so I thought I would give it a listen now. Yep! Still love it! Nicholas and Helena were a wonderful couple! You don't get a lot of romance books about married couples, because usually all the romance is in the woo-ing and such. But this was fantastic. On their wedding night, as was usual in these times, Nicholas took Helena's virginity. She gasped and didn't seem to enjoy it (a very realistic thing you don't find in romance usually either). He mistook this to mean that she thought he was a monster and she wouldn't want to have marital relations with him any more. So he avoided her. But then she found out about "the Nunnery". She finds that her husband was invited there and so she decided to go an confront him.... that isn't exactly what happened! But where it all went from there had me in a fit! There was also some suspense to the story dealing with his shady past. But I was a great fan of the story. And the narration was fantastic, even with the swapping between accents felt very natural!
