Heartless

A beautifully illustrated guided journal that helps women slow down and enjoy life rather than pushing for perfection.
Most women today are frantic, lost in an endless cycle of busyness caused by constant pressure to perform up to unrealistic expectations of perfection, many of which are self-imposed. This journal cuts to the heart of the problem by showing women how to reconnect with their inner selves through solitude, introspection, and contemplation of what's truly important to them as individuals and family members. While there was definitely a lot to like about this one, it’s not my favorite. I really like the author’s writing style and I think she does a great job bringing the ridiculous and nonsensical world of “Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland” to life in a more realistic and story-driven setting, however I felt that there was a bit too much cringy romance for me to take it seriously.
Not terrible by any means, but I likely wouldn’t suggest it to anyone who isn’t a die-hard romance fanatic.
Cringy and slightly disturbing
