i think i liked the investigation in this one more bc the mystery was happening in real time versus in the past like book one. but i think i liked book one more.
This one was not as good as AGGGTM, but still very gripping. I knew Charlie Green was the catfish as soon as he came knocking on Pippa's door after that Instagram message, but I just couldn't figure out why or what he was doing... The fact that he moved into the house despite everything happening in Little Kilton, and the fact that his window had been left open... I initially thought he'd abducted Jamie as a megafan of Pippa's podcast, wanting to give her something to do. And then I figured he'd been testing Jamie with the watch for some reason. Anyway, I liked the ending and am curious to see what new adventures await our Pip in As Good As Dead!
Also, I love Pip and Ravi sm ;-;

had to push myself to finish it by skimming the last 150 pages to find out the ending… just got bored of it
A good girl's Guide to Murder series is a trio written by Holly Jackson. It is a captivating blend of mystery and suspense that keeps readers hooked from start to finish.
This series is my absolute favorite murder mystery book ever, and Holly Jackson is now one of my favorite authors.
Pippa Fitz-Amobi is a genius, intelligent, A-grade student who solves a 5-year-old closed murder case. She is so very obsessed with the murders and finding out who the real killer is. This is all about the first book in the series.
The second book; Good girl, Bad Blood is about her searching for her friend who goes missing. She released her podcast about the murder case she solved in the first book.
The third and last book; As Good as Dead is my favorite. In the last book, Pip goes missing, she had been getting anonymous threats since she became a public figure through her podcast. Well, I'll not spill the beans here, you'll have to read the book to know what happens and I bet you'll find the third book very very interesting.
About the characters, Pip is an A-grade high school student who proves Sal Singh innocent by solving the Andie Bell murder case with the help of Sal's brother Ravi Singh, who is the most perfect green flag one can find.
This series is a rollercoaster of suspense and intrigue, perfect for fans of mysteries who enjoy uncovering the hidden motives behind crimes. With a mix of compelling characters, intricate plots, and a touch of darkness, this series is a must-read for anyone seeking a thrilling and immersive reading experience.

WOW! What a book - it hooked me in from the first book & this one just continued on the same hooks.
I loved the character development from the first book & Jacksons ability to merge a who done it book while still building family and friends relationship throughout the book was brilliant. You often find this genre cold & lacking of depth but I think it was done brilliantly!
An absolute must read!
