This gave me "The Ritual" and "Haunting Adeline" vibes. If you like those, you will probably like this.

Omg, how to even start this review.
I was literally counting down the days since Rina first announce this series and to say I’m obsessed is an understatement.
I LOVED Royal Elite and the other books from Rina that are tied to this world. So I was anticipating this second gen but when I say that Rina superseded everything I could’ve thought of, I was mind blown reading this entire book.

Killian…my psycho, I love you. ☺️

I don’t know what angels look like and probably never will—thank fuck I have a designated place in hell—but she’s the closest thing to an angel I’ve ever seen

This was the crossover I needed after MCU (which im still not over) because every time I had crumbs of all the other second gen couples it had me tearing like a proud mum.

THIS IS NOT SPOILER FREE

I described this book as "insane" every time my boyfriend asked me how was it while I read and it was about 20 times. Because it was. And the majority of the 4 stars are for the 2nd gen crumbs.

Killian-Glyndon are definitely better than their parents Levi-Asstrid and Asher-Reina to me. I liked how Glyndon tried to understand Killian and wasn't just another person who branded him a psycho *coughs* Asher *coughs* his dad but okay he did apologise in the end. Glyndon is that girl who's inferior because her entire family has the best painters but through this she grows and finds her own place and acceptance for herself.

Killian is a psychopath who has difficulty with emotions but Glyndon seemed to bring his own version of it out. I liked how crazy he was and how he came to terms with what he has and slowly simmered down into finding something acceptable. Every time he had to hold himself back from killing Glyndon, a part of me was "like do it because I love the crazy" but another half was like "no he can't bc there's no fmc then and there's no other girl out there for him". And Killian's obsession with Glyndon's virgin blood?

Absolute Page-turner

While reading God of Malice, I kept telling myself I couldn't believe how much I liked Killian! Yes, he sees himself as the villain, the destructive one. He reminds me so much of Aiden from the Royal Elites. Well, these are the children of that crew!!

Killian is a 19-year-old genius who also has some destructive tendencies. When he meets Glyndon, the way she maintains eye contact with him even though she has some fear of him; intrigues him so much that he decides he wants to know so much more about her.

Glyndon sees Killian unlike others, and she is not afraid of him. Instead, he gives her dark thoughts some perspective. She's not looking for a relationship, and many have said to stay away from him. Yet, she is drawn to him since she sees more to him than what he shows the world.

What happens when a psycho and an innocent artist keep company? Especially since Killian will never let her go? It makes for a page-turning read!!

Yes, there are trigger warnings, as with all Rina Kent books, so proceed with caution if you are easily triggered.

I am here for this series, and I can't wait to read the rest.

Reasons I enjoyed this book:

Action-packed, Entertaining, Page-turner, Steamy, Twisted, Wonderful characters
