Glory Daze is the latest book in the Glory series. Glory Be, Book 1, was one of my top reads in 2023. I instantly took a liking to Ms. Glory, the sleuth detective of a certain age.
Miss Glory is back solving crimes on a hunch. This time it’s closer to home. Her ex-husband has been murdered and she has to find the killer, working with her daughter and nemesis - her ex husband’s new wife.
This was a funny and cozy mystery that I really enjoyed. I loved Ms. Glory connecting with her daughter and letting her nosiness guide her to potential suspects! We also get some added Louisiana cuisine sprinkled in, too! More of Ms. Glory’s sass and even more colorful characters in the mix!
The narration was also great! I’d recommend this series for fans of the Finlay Donovan series.
