Girl, Stop Apologizing: A Shame-Free Plan for Embracing and Achieving Your Goals

In Girl, Stop Apologizing, #1 New York Times bestselling author and founder of a multimillion-dollar media company, Rachel Hollis sounds a wake-up call. She knows that many women have been taught to define themselves in light of other people instead of learning how to own who they are and what they want. With a challenge to women everywhere to stop talking themselves out of their dreams, Hollis identifies the excuses to let go of, the behaviors to adopt, and the skills to acquire on the path to growth, confidence, and believing in yourself.

Another amazingly written book. When I listen to her books I feel so inspired to do more in my life and to change things and really stick to it. One of my favorite things was the guided meditation at the end of the audiobook. This is a must read book for women. Her writing makes me feel empowered

This is the first book I read by Rachael Hollis. I also got to attend the online Rise conference last weekend. Rachael’s message is consistent: pick one thing to focus on. Improve one aspects of your life at a time. Make it a habit, and start making the changes you want to make now.

Rachael is realistic and honest. Sharing about getting help to get her to where she is? Done. Sharing about getting a boob job for herself? Done.

I never met Rachael in person, but I truly believe her when she says she is here in earth to make a tribe of leaders. She doesn’t need another fan girl clicking like on her social media shares. She is a true leader who empowers others to become leaders too.

I will read this book again in the future, because I know I’ll be encouraged by her words and reminder to lead a life that is authentically my own.

Amazing advice from an amazing person. Everything I read really hit home at this time in my life and I'm putting Rachel's words into action. You will feel like you're friends with her after reading this book. And what a friend to have!

Worth the read! Own your space and quit worrying about if you belong or who you might upset along the way!

I added this book when I was trying to build my Beachbody business. I think if I was still in a place of wanting to build my own business, this book would have done more for me. Though it was good, I am no longer in the head space for the tips and messages it had to offer. I will say that I did have one really good take away for pursuing my personal career growth though. I feel like I have a road map to plan my next move within my current company to move into a bigger role and how to achieve it.
