Fugitive Telemetry: The Murderbot Diaries

By Martha Wells

A standalone adventure in the New York Times and USA Today-bestselling, Hugo and Nebula Award-winning series!

The security droid with a heart (though it wouldn't admit it!) is back in Fugitive Telemetry!

Having captured the hearts of readers across the globe (Annalee Newitz says it's "one of the most humane portraits of a nonhuman I've ever read") Murderbot has also established Martha Wells as one of the great SF writers of today.

No, I didn't kill the dead human. If I had, I wouldn't dump the body in the station mall.

When Murderbot discovers a dead body on Preservation Station, it knows it is going to have to assist station security to determine who the body is (was), how they were killed (that should be relatively straightforward, at least), and why (because apparently that matters to a lot of people—who knew?)

Yes, the unthinkable is about to happen: Murderbot must voluntarily speak to humans!

Still great. This one felt a bit underbaked, but it was just as entertaining as ever and a nice little novella

It's a sci-fi mystery! Great little mystery with new and old characters. We are introduced to newI liked meeting more bots.

This could be read as a standalone without any of the other books. I'm not sure if chronologically it's after book 5 in the world's timeline. There is no reference at all to the last adventure which we definitely need more of.

Highly recommend this whole series!

This installment was good, but it confused me because chronologically it takes place between books 4 and five.

Much better than the last few entries in the Muderbot Diaries series. Fun little whodunnit/murder mystery including robot fights, annoying humans, and lots of soap operas.

The murderbot is at it again. He is playing detective in addition to rescuing humans from themselves this time. I truly wish that I could have the data access that he has. Life would be so much easier!
