Good mystery. Keeps you guessing
Such depravity in the human soul. And such small errors that had such huge consequences. The touch of Russian war criminal was so unexpected. Well written. Had me staying up late to read.

Daniel and Laura have a horrifying experience while traveling. They are shattered by it. And as they struggle to find their way, some of the horror finds them. This is a nail biter and evidence is that evil exists.
This book quickly pulled me in and totally engrossed me. I had to keep reading to figure things out. The climax of the book arrived and left me breathless as I followed the 2 lead characters through everything. But it was the very ending that did me in...it left me haunted and dazed. Still days later I am still remembering how the author carefully revealed the truth to the readers. At first it was just a casually mentioned thing, but it became so much more.
I was caught off guard and alarmed. I wanted to jump into the book and warn the main character because I knew what he did not, but the book ended. And I was left wondering what was going to happen next. AND THAT is what made this compelling, must-read fiction.
