This was a fun read. But I liked theirs for the holidays better by the same author. đ€·ââïžđ
In an unexpected twist, âFilthy Rich Santaâ turns out to be much more than just a holiday romance filled with steamy moments. It skillfully weaves a narrative centred on love, acceptance, and personal growth. The story follows Lana, who, after a painful breakup with her ex-fiancĂ©, embarks on a journey of self-discovery. As she explores her sexuality, she finds herself at a kink club, where her path intersects with her brother's best friends, Tristan, Ryder, and Beckett, the club's owners.
As they travel home for the holidays, the friends agree to help Lana explore her newfound interests in kink, forming an intriguing bond along the way. Each character brings their unique traits to the table: Tristan, the caring protector; Ryder, the playful spirit; and the grumpy yet tender-hearted Beckett. Their individual struggles add depth to their personalities, from Tristan's hidden scars to Ryder's fear of abandonment, and Beckett's reluctance to let Lana in due to his own family history.
Lana emerges as a powerful and relatable protagonist. Her journey from self-doubt to empowerment, shaped by the expectations of those around her, is beautifully portrayed. The dynamic between Lana and the three men creates a heartwarming narrative filled with uplifting moments. The author skillfully balances humour, holiday cheer, sweetness, and character development, making this spicy reverse-harem story stand out.
Additionally, the thoughtful representation of a health condition, specifically Lupus, adds authenticity to Lana's character without detracting from the primary focus of the story. For anyone seeking a festive reverse-harem this holiday season, this book is a delightful choice that offers much more than expected.
This was a fun smutty book. The guys were very entertaining. The fmcâs journey was fun to see her learning her own power and enjoying her own feminine energy. The toxicity of her family though had me seeing red! As far as the spice, there was a lot of it but it seemed very clinical. I donât know if the author just doesnât know or ever experienced what they are writing about or if itâs just the writing of the scenes but, it felt like they researched it and just wrote down what they read about it. It seemed disconnected to me when it came to the spice. But besides that I did like the story line. âșïž
