I will be honest to start this post, i am just over half way done with this book. This book has been so popular on pinterest, Facebook, even the local radio DJ's have been talking about it so I decided to give it a try despite it being a fanfiction story. I am having a hard time finishing a few pages each day because it's an incredibly frustrating book. Honestly, I do not see the allure to it! We have a girl who has just a little bit of self doubt that allows herself to be mentally abused into submission just because a pretty guy is interested in her and now I have gotten in to the physical abuse portion. She keeps saying how "f***** up" Christian is but she is JUST as messed up for allowing this scenario! It is quite pathetic that this has such a strong following. It speaks poorly of our society. If I finish this book it will be surprising, much less the next 2. Also, how will they turn this into a movie? It is basically a porno with a slightly deeper plot than a pizza boy knocking on the door.

Revise: I have now finished the book and still strongly dislike it. The ending made me much happier, but I know there are 2 more books.

It is well worth the read. It isn't the greatest written book but it does light your fire and sensual awareness. I read all three books in a week because I wanted to know what happens next. Yes, there are many errors, repeated words and obvious thesaurus words you might need to look up but the story is great. I am rereading already just to relive the excitement. YouTube the songs mentioned for a heightened experience. Definitely going on my fav list.

Book 1 has a lot of "kinky fuckery" and spice.

Literary crack. It's so bad but you can't seem to walk away after you out it down. Very hard habit to break.
