Absolutely enthralled. This series are the kind of books that reminds me why I love reading. The world building is fantastic, the ensemble characters are complicated and intriguing, the settings add so much to the story, the plot provides great twists and realizations.
Yes, the first book was better. But I stayed up reading this book, thinking how create a tv series it would be if the proper team brought it to life. I am going through some cognitive problems and memory issues due to a chronic illness, so I couldn’t really read much each day, which was so frustrating, but the novel was worth it.
The characters are really out through the wringer, and the political machinations are really building up. I’ll take as many books in this series as I can get, keep ‘em coming. 10/10 highly recommend.
