I received this book as a blind date with a book and was unsure at first! I ended up very much enjoying this book in the end. The characters had great development throughout and I feel like they all had a happy ending. I appreciated the inside look into Asian families in California and the dynamics that surrounded them. I already bought another book by this author and I am looking forward to reading it!
