This brought the story home for me! I love the twist and turns and I feel like the second book really dived more into the history of these characters and into their mysteries as well.
Fallen Stars was a worthy follow up to Heavenly Bodies. I think I enjoyed this one even more, actually. The imagery was captivating, and though our time in Altalune was short, it was glorious. (I would loooooveeee an Altalune novella!) This book was action packed from the very start. The ending utterly shocked me. I can’t believe we have to wait an entire YEAR for book 3. I’d read the indie pub of Holy Monster’s but the trad books are canon so I think it would only be confusing. *deep sigh*
I was disappointed after really liking book 1 :(
500 things happening all the time and all over the place. It all gets lost and you don’t get to really go deep on anything to further connect. Plot twists are predictable but satisfying.
