The fables are real...I've always known it to be true.

I feel like a jerk when I don't care about Bufkin because I think he's amazing for a (sometimes) flying monkey. I just didn't care about a finality to his tale. This may have also been because so much of this volume was wasted spent in Oz with Bufkin and what I really wanted the most was the meat and potatoes (aka my beloved Bigby and Snow).

I don't know how to feel about this one. It felt a little scattered, a little disjointed, and a little too unlike my favorite volumes. I was underwhelmed, which sort of ticked me off. Why? Bigby dying should have had me curled into the fetal position sobbing but instead I skimmed through like I was reading about the price of diesel rising yet again.

I'm continuing to read because it's almost over; I'm too attached to the characters to quit this late in the game.
