This was a fun debaucherous memoir from a British millennial. Dolly's 20s were a self-indulgent mess, but her witty insights on life had me smiling throughout this quick read. It's about growing up, the power of female friendships, and the trials & triumphs of finding romantic love. I especially enjoyed and related to her existential crisis about aging and the passage of time.
from what I did read it was great but I ended up DNF
when i bought this book the girl working told me she had just finished it and it was like getting lunch with an older sister
i completely agree with that synopsis
really enjoyed this, found it relatable and funny and cozy

"Perhaps it was because this was the only way I had learned to get to know someone, with a distance between us, with enough space for me to curate and filter the best version of myself possible. "
❀ I found this book to be quite ordinary. While I did not dislike it, I also did not find it particularly remarkable. Each story that Dolly shared about her life was interesting and engaging, and I appreciated the advice she offered. Despite some criticisms I had about the book, I still enjoyed reading it to some extent and would rate it a 3.5 out of 5. However, I do not plan on reading it again in the future.
More of a 3.5
