All I Know About Love by Dolly Alderton is an incredibly relatable and heart-warming read, filled with insightful and honest anecdotes about love, relationships, and growing up. As a reader, I found myself nodding along to much of what Dolly was saying, even though we are from different generations and parts of the world.

What I loved most about this book was how easy it was to relate to Dolly's experiences. Her reflections on the highs and lows of dating, friendships, and finding your place in the world spoke to me on a personal level. I think this is a testament to Dolly's excellent writing skills, which allow her to draw on her own experiences to create a story that feels authentic and relatable.

Throughout the book, Dolly explores the joys and tribulations of love, and how it can be both the most incredible and the most painful aspect of life. But even when she was writing about heartbreak or disappointment, there was an underlying feeling of positivity and hope that left me feeling uplifted after each chapter.

Overall, I would highly recommend All I Know About Love to anyone who is navigating their early twenties, or who has ever felt lost or uncertain about their relationships, friendships, or career. Dolly's writing is warm, intelligent, and extremely relatable, and her story is a reminder that we are never alone in our journey towards finding out what love means to us.

I picked up this book because of a rec I saw on tiktok and I’m glad I did. I liked it a lot more than I was expecting. I saw a lot of myself in some of it and it was reassuring to read.

I can’t imagine a romantic relationship being more important to me right now than the relationships I have with my friends and myself. Actually, never more important. But maybe one day equally so. My early twenties, however, no, and I’ve known that since I was thirteen I think.

This timeline is mine, and if I ‘caught up’ in the ways I sometimes feel pressured to, I would feel claustrophobic and rushed and be incredibly over it. Being able to bring those blurry thoughts into focus was a huge relief.

So thank you, Dolly Alderton. The rest of my life might very well be measured in years B.D. and A.D.

It took me a while to get into it (I think it's because I couldn't really relate to all the millennial jargon) but once I did it was an amazingly hilarious and soul warming book! I highly recommend it!!
