This third installment in the series follows Ernest Cunningham as he once again stumbles into a murder—this time during the holiday season. Just like in the first two books, Ernest unravels the mystery using the classic literary rules of whodunits, which adds a fun, self-aware charm to the story.
This is a cute and cozy murder mystery that keeps you guessing until the end. All the clues are there; you just have to know what to pay attention to. The characters are well developed and genuinely endearing, making the journey even more enjoyable.
The story does start off a bit slow, but once the second half kicks in, the momentum really picks up. Overall, a delightful and clever addition to the series
