Drunk on Love
An intoxicating and sparkling new romance by New York Times bestselling author Jasmine Guillory.
Margot Noble needs some relief from the stress of running the family winery with her brother. Enter Luke: sexy, charming, and best of all in the too-small world of Napa, a stranger. The chemistry between them is undeniable, and Margot is delighted that she lucked into the perfect one-night stand she'll never have to see again. That is, until the winery's newest hire, Luke, walks in the next morning. Margot is determined to keep things purely professional, but when their every interaction reminds her of the attraction still bubbling between them, it proves to be much more challenging than she expects. Luke Williams had it all, but when he quits his high-salary tech job in Silicon Valley in a blaze of burnout and moves back to Napa to help a friend, he realizes he doesn't want to tell the world--or his mom--why he's now working at a winery. His mom loves bragging about her successful son--how can he admit that the job she's so proud of broke him? Luke has no idea what is next for him, but one thing is certain: he wants more from the incredibly smart and sexy woman he hooked up with--even after he learns she's his new boss. But even if they can find a way to be together that wouldn't be an ethical nightmare, would such a successful woman really want a tech-world dropout? Set against a lush backdrop of Napa Valley wine country, nothing goes to your head as fast as a taste of love--even if it means changing all your plans.

I have recently become acquainted with her literary works and found them good. I felt they were all âfeel goodâ contemporary romance novels that were cute. This book went from average to really above fun average. I could not stop smiling.
I enjoyed all the characters. Even the annoying brother! Everyone was nice but Iâm more hyperfocusing on how strong the friendships are between Margo and Sydney, Luke and Avery, and last but not least, a friendship between Margo and Luke. Itâs so easy for a couple to have hot sex but can they talk in real everyday life? Thatâs hot if you answer âyes.â
Itâs a cute premise where the boss accidentally sleeps with her employee, but to see itâs a woman who is the boss is about darn time! I adore the part where Luke even offers to quit to make Margo feel more comfortable, even though she assures him, âno, and it would probably violate many ethical rules.â Letâs add more chaos into the fun factor and have Lukeâs mom not know the reason why Luke is back in Napa when heâs supposed to be in Silicon Valley. Oh, and Lukeâs mom gleefully thinks Luke is back because heâs dating Avery, again. Avery thinks that is hilarious, as when they were dating for a hot minute, in high school, she didnât much care for Avery.
If you want a fun read and a feel good novel, this is the one to read. It's not overly complicated and a quick read.

Oh gosh I wish I could bottle this book and emotions up to remember the feelings this book gave me. This is romance perfection. Jasmine Guillory gets better and better with each new book.
You get older woman, younger man, forbidden flair as she is his boss (they didn't know at the moment), a crush that keeps growing the more they work together. Then as the time goes by they discover they are just meant to be together. SWOONS!
Also the FMC is such a boss babe, I love boss babes like her. She is so relatable as she is always battling her inner imposter syndrome, even hustling past her brother's nay saying attitude.
The MMC is a complete cinnamon roll, I LOVE heroes like this. They are a sure way to my heart!
Their love story is so adorable, and the story is written so chic and sophisticated! I want to see this as a movie so bad!

Was not expecting the relationship dynamic but that was the beauty of it. It only took me a couple days to read cause I was tuned in
Quote 🗨️ : “They made her realize how absolutely not casual she was about him, how important he was to her, how central he’d been to her life over the past month.”
“She’d thought of him - she’d treated him - as someone she could share her whole self with, without having to edit herself, without having to hold anything back.”
