No notes!!! I absolutely loved everything about this book.

The writing was emotional, raw, and had me hooked from start to finish. I felt every bit of the characters’ struggles, their chemistry, and the way they healed each other. They had such a beautiful and special way of mending each other—it wasn’t just love, it was understanding, patience, and two broken souls finding solace in one another.

I know the age gap might be a turnoff for some people, but they were both consenting adults, and their connection felt so genuine. It wasn’t just about attraction—it was about survival, healing, and being seen in a way no one else ever had.

Also, Erin is a bitch—she should’ve never come back!! And the fact that she hit Skylar with a hammer??? CRAZYYYYY. That whole scene had me shook. The only reason I’m not giving this book 5 stars is because of Erin’s unnecessary return!

On top of that, the way the author tackled heavy topics like illness, poverty, and trauma made the story feel so real. It wasn’t just a romance; it was an emotional journey. Definitely a book that sticks with you!
