Read it because it has a ton of ratings and is super short and on audio.

It's typical self-help stuff most of us have read 1000 times before. All vague inputs to how you should live your life and how to think and feel. Are you doing it wrong?!? You should not think as thinking makes you worry! Rather take decisions based on your intuition as then you won't stress anymore. Of course the issue is that he never mentions any practical examples. Rather he quotes famous people. You think he is wrong? Well, here is a quote from John Ford hence you know his deep psychology is legit as why else would this famous rich anti-Semite say it? Then he quotes old philosophy short tales. Again, not quite relevant to the 21 century reader. Never quotes studies or experiments adapting his ideas.

It's hard to understand exactly how to use any of the lessons unless we are shown someone doing it wrong then someone doing it right. Here everything is assumed. Some mystery people are wrong. Some super people are doing the right thing. And I assume all rich and famous people he quotes are in the correct group? Even if they inherited all their wealth?

He even quotes Deepak Chopra that should tell you exactly what type of book this is.

I suppose if someone had no exposure to Eastern philosophy, particularly Zen Buddhism, there are some helpful insights in the book. However, just go directly to the source and study Eastern philosophy. This book is not a good substitute or introduction to Eastern philosophical thought.
