This book was fine. Keep in mind, I’m not typically a fan of the memory loss trope, like in 50 First Dates.
It was fine for what it was, but I tend to prefer the books I read to be messier.

The first twist made me so mad but the end made up for it!

Not bad, but there are so many better reads.

This book has a plot similar to "Before I Go to Sleep" but with a different execution and ending. It is fast-paced and suspenseful, with an unexpected ending that may not be as strong as expected. Tess Strebel suffers from memory loss and struggles to recognize her own face, home, and husband after a car accident. She reads a letter she wrote to herself explaining her situation but receives a mysterious text warning her not to trust the man who claims to be her husband. Overall, it is a thrilling read and recommended for those who enjoy surprises in their books. Freida is one of my favorite authors!

Overdone plot of memory loss. Not my favourite of FM but still a good read. 7/10.
