The book explores on the concept of feminine beauty from the western world point of view, author's well-backed arguments about issues of western measurement and standards about the beauty, and how to reclaim it.

The problem with the beauty is well articulated backed from historical PoV with facts and other susbstantive evidences. It's engaging and engrossing untill author introduce the concept - reclaim divine feminine beauty. At this point, I should have tossed the book since I'm a cisgednered man reading the book but persisted and started disagreeing with all the some of points regarding reclaiming the beauty and agreed with the author on conceptual level that beauty exists in the nature but classified as beauty by humans.

I wish author explored further indepth on following points: what is beauty? what is not beauty? what would happen if we don't reclaim beauty? Why not invent something new rather than reclaiming it?

May be, I'm not the audience for the book?

Whatever said, I would definitely say it's worth the read and my time. An impressive try but an unconvicing attempt. You should definitely read the book!
