It felt like I was reading a sitcom combined with a Nancy Drew novel. Not my favorite genre, but it did make me laugh at points. At others I found the characters entirely annoying. The character I could empathize with the most was actually the victim. If I had to live in the same neighborhood she did, I'd have behaved the same way.
