Dark Matter

very interesting. loved the view into the mental aspects of living where the sun doesn't shine for 6 months out of the year.

“Dark Matter” is an atmospheric horror story, filled with so much dread and coldness that it’s nearly impossible to read without chilling you to your core. I typically don’t enjoy writing styles done as journal entries, but for this story, it felt surprisingly natural. Jack’s point of view was very interesting and brought a different perspective to ghost stories as a whole. Paver crafted a bone-chilling story and executed it perfectly - this easily is one of my favorite reads of the year. This really was an excellent story, and I’d love to read more horror stories from Paver in the near future.
