I am so in love with the Warriors of the BDB, just in love!!
Wrath who is the Prince of his people but wants nothing to do with it....just wants to hunt the bad guys (Lessors) and stick to himself is thrown into a situation that gets him the best Mate he could ever wish for, Beth. Beth has no family, shitty job and when a sexy 6'6 man comes a calling to tell her about her dead father and the 'change" she is about to go through, her world gets turned upside down....but then righted.
These two have such a connection right from the start, the storyline is fantastic with lots of one-liners, humor, drama, sexy sexy vampires. Its steamy, connective and even brought me to tears on a few occasions. Once again, this book gripped me right from the start and couldn't put it down. For me, I related to Beth on so many levels, that I just wanted to jump into her shoes.
We are tease with a little bit of background on each brother and Butch, OMG "the Cop" heartbreaker that one, same with Zsadist. The commodity these warriors have, you can feel in depth and they cracked me up...lots of laughing in this book for me. The story itself has girth, no pun intended and lots of depth, back story and future set up for the next in the series. I love that this series has a different book for each warrior, instead of a run on story that either leaves you hanging or cuts you off with unanswered questions. Wish we had more like this now.
I am so looking forward to re-discovering each one of these brother's stories.
