Dangerous Temptation (Dark Dream Book 1)

I was a bit hesitant about reading a story in an already established world explore in other books but of course in classic Giana Darling fashion, I WAS BLOWN AWAY!!!!
This story was everything!!!! I loved getting to explore the world of the Constantines and Morelli’s through the lens of Tiernan & Bianca!!!
I felt so connected to the character of Bianca, she is a young woman who has truly gone through so much hardship in life & her perseverance to keep going in life & attempt to give her brother the best life possible was nothing short of heartwarming. Tiernan was an asshole throughout this book but the tension between him & Bianca was next level and I can’t wait to see how their dynamic develops further in book 2!!!!
When I tell you that this man is everything…..I TRULY MEAN IT!!!! HE IS EVERYTHING & MOREEEE AND THE CLIFFHANGER…..UMMMM NO IM SORRY I NEED BOOK 2 ASAP!!!
I can’t wait five back into this world!!!!

Grabbed my attention and was a easy read, definitely gets better in book 2

I am a bit torn on this one. I like the premise of the story, but I just don't feel like it was presented in the best way. It ends on cliffhanger, so in all fairness it all may come together by the end and I just don't know it yet. This is more on the Morelli/Constantine rivalry. Tiernan takes in Brandon and Bianca when their mother dies.... their mother was the mistress of Lane Constantine. So somehow these kids are to be used as a revenge plot that just kind of fizzled out to me. There were a couple different ways that they were talking about that going, which has left me slightly confused on what the plan actually was. The spice doesn't come in until late in the story, and I just didn't feel any tension in which to actually call it a slow burn. The cliffhanger was enough to leave me quite intrigued as to what will happen in the next book..... I am quite invested in this whole world and the rivalry they have going!
