I think this was written well, but there were a few things I would have changed.
It was a tiny bit too long and too low stakes. The car crash could have come sooner instead at the end. Buck and Nathaniel could have been used a lot more. That could have added some drama.
I do like how the author handled Oakley (Willow’s brother and Dev’s best friend). I think most authors would have gone the predictable route.
All in all, it’s worth a read if you want something very low stakes!
