I would like to give this book 5 stars, but I am uncomfortable with the racism. One could say, well that’s the way it was in the 19th century, and I know this was written in the 70s, but, still. That being said, the mystery was good and I did not guess the ending.
This is the beginning of a series and it is certainly a good book. The mystery keeps your attention and certainly a great start to a series of mysteries.
