Genuinely one of the worst books I have ever read. This man writes women like he’s purposely making fun of men who can’t write women. Except it’s not a joke... I know more about Villanelle’s breasts than I do her personality.

I fell in love with the Killing Eve TV series, and it felt only right to try and read the novel that inspired it.

Compared to the TV series this felt rushed and jumbled, both fast paced but too slow if that's even possible - maybe that's attributed to the fact that it's four short stories pieced together, and I've never been all that good with short stories.

I did enjoy learning more about Vilannelles backstory, and I would read the next ones just for her, but Jodie Comers Villanelle was a masterpiece that'd unbeatable.
