I really enjoyed this book, I couldn't put it down and read it finish in one sitting. And I needed some time to consolidate my thoughts before writing this.

Luca and Mariya seemed like a milder, softer version of Kyle-Rai from another universe. Mariya gives boss lady vibes, she can shoot a gun and also stand up for herself. I like how confident she was in her abilities (despite being so spoiled). Luca is that man who goes gooey for his woman but doesn't hesitate to spill the brains of his enemies. I liked their dynamics -how they spoke to one another and how they showed their love without feeling embarrassed. Grumpy, angsty man taking care of his sick woman is a trope I'll never get sick of, there's just something so sweet about the way men take care of who they love.
