Caged in Shadow (Of Dragons and Fae)

This was by far the best book in the series! Jasmine’s writing really leveled up, and I loved how she switches perspectives. I’m still not fully used to it, but it worked well in this book. The story jumped all over the place but managed to keep a consistent timeline, which I appreciated. I also felt like I got a much better understanding of the characters, and it was fun watching everything unfold, even though I did predict most of it. Nothing really surprised me, but in this case, I didn’t mind. The other books struggled to pull that off, but this one handled it well. Not a bad series at all, it just took me a while to get through… mostly because I needed a mental break with my nasty romance and a big pause for Onyx Storm!
