Such a good addition to this series!

I liked this story and I would have given it five stars except for the element of cheating. I would have preferred it if she wasn’t married to Rocco anymore when they acted on their feelings towards each other but I do understand that for the story things had to play out a certain way.
I really appreciated the extent of detail that Az had in his pursuit for revenge. He has to be one of the most patient characters I have ever read about. He waited eight years while planning everything before he put things into motion. Once he met Ravenna, everything changed and all of his plans went on the back burner. He initially believed that she was just a spoiled Mafia wife but once he got to know her and saw the way she handled herself, he began to see her differently. He saw how strong she was and how she would fight for the people that she loved. He realized that she never loved Rocco and that by marrying him, she helped to erase her brother’s gambling debt. She was very selfless and put everyone else ahead of her, even at the end. She was going to let Alessandro get his revenge and leave her behind because she believed that it was more important to him than she was.
I was very excited for Az’s book after reading Sergei’s story and hearing about everything they had been through together. I was very happy with how he got his happily ever after. Ravi and Az truly were soulmates and constantly brought out the best in each other.
