Both of You

This psychological thriller hooked me right from the beginning with its premise of two kidnapped women and their worried husbands left behind. The initial twist in the plot immediately piqued my interest, promising a riveting journey ahead. However, the narrative's use of multiple points of view, while initially engaging, led to some dull moments in the middle parts of the book. By the time I reached the last quarter, I began to anticipate where the story was heading, ultimately leaving me disappointed with the climax. What frustrated me the most was the abrupt ending that left many loose ends unresolved, only to be informed that the story would continue in another installment. As a reader who invested time and effort into "Both of You," I felt somewhat cheated out of a complete resolution to the storyline. While I'm intrigued to know what happens next to the characters, I'm hesitant to commit to another book, fearing a similar lack of closure. It's disappointing to be left hanging after investing in a story, and I hope future installments provide the satisfying conclusion that this one lacked.

Another great read from Adele parks. I loved the storyline and it was really gripping. Full of suspense and I loved the ‘missing wife’ concept and how it affected the family.
