The final book in this thrilling, terrifying series by New York Times bestselling author Barry Lyga is perfect for fans of Dexter.

Jazz Dent has been shot and left to die in New York City. His girlfriend Connie is in the clutches of Jazz's serial killer father, Billy. And his best friend Howie is bleeding to death on the floor of Jazz's own home in tiny Lobo's Nod. Somehow, these three must rise above the horrors their lives have become and find a way to come together in pursuit of Billy. But then Jazz crosses a line he's never crossed before, and soon the entire country is wondering: "Like father, like son?" Who is the true monster?

The chase is on, and beyond Billy there lurks something much, much worse. Prepare to meet...the Crow King.

Trigger Warning for sexual abuse.

This book wasn’t as good as the previous two, but it was still enjoyable. I feel like it tied up the loose ends nicely, but this book was by far the most f*cked up. 😅 Throughout the entire series I’ve enjoyed Jasper’s character.

I love that Jasper is the son of a serial killer who was also trained to think like a series killer. Talk about glass half full, he in turn uses that knowledge to help out the cops while battling his own personal demons.

I recommend this series to anyone, who like me, loved The Naturals by Jennifer Lynn Barnes or the show Criminal Minds.

Parts that I guessed correctly in the book:

I have a feeling that I will enjoy Howie a lot but I will care for Jazz like no other. Let's hope I enjoy the actual series! Consider me excited
