If you would've told me year ago that I was going to be broke and penniless after my husband took everyone to the cleaners after he pulled off one of the biggest Ponzi schemes, leaving me a run down campground, a set of camper keys, before he escaped prison and when the FBI came to the campground to see if I helped him escape, then the no good you know what floated up to the top of the lake in that campground making me the number one suspect, I'd said you were lying.

Eh... I was looking for some sort of cozy mystery for the summer and yes, this is that but it wasn't super great in my opinion. I was a bit bored and not super attached to the storyline or the characters. I also found the audio narration super sub-par which probably didn't help with my opinion. The premise reminds me a lot of Schitt's Creek and there were some good quirky characters but it wasn't very funny for me and I wish it had been, I think that would've helped lighten and entertain the plotline. It's not bad and it was an easy read that accomplished my initial goal of why I picked it up but it wasn't quite my favorite in the category.
