“Hands down, one of my favorite reads of the year!” —Freida McFadden, author of The Housemaid

Meghan, Brecia, and Skye have just one thing in common. They were all murdered by the same man.

He hunted them online, masquerading as an eligible bachelor. Then he played the perfect gentleman, a thick layer of charm and a thousand-watt smile hiding the fact that his first dates end in shallow graves.

He’s gotten away with murder three times now.

The only thing that might keep him from killing again? The women he murdered.

Meghan, Brecia, and Skye might be dead, but they’re not gone. They’ve found each other. And they won’t rest until they find a way to stop him.

A devastating tale of female rage and righteous vengeance, Ask for Andrea will leave readers gutted—and asking for more.

I went into this book completely blind and was shocked by how much I loved it.
It was devastatingly tragic.
My heart hurt by the end of it just imagining women that have gone through this.
The author does a great job portraying these 3 different women and their stories. It was definitely a thriller, I felt my heart race several time through some of the tougher scenes.
I recommend if you’re looking for a fast paced thriller just check trigger warnings first!

Three women. One man. All dead. When three women discover they were all dating the same charming but dangerous man—now mysteriously deceased—they join forces to uncover the chilling truth. Ask for Andrea is a gripping psychological thriller told through three interconnected perspectives, weaving a haunting tale of betrayal, survival, and revenge. Ask for Andrea holds a special place in my heart—it was the very first book my book club ever read, and what a powerful choice it turned out to be. Going into it, I was a little hesitant. Multiple perspectives usually trip me up, and I was worried I’d get confused. But Noelle W. Ihli handled it masterfully. Each voice felt distinct and purposeful, making it easy to follow the intertwined stories without feeling lost. I won’t give any spoilers (because let’s be honest, nobody likes those), but the fact that the story is told from the perspective of ghosts was something totally fresh for me—and I loved it. It was eerie, emotional, and completely captivating. It also happened to be my first time reading anything by Noelle Ihli, and I was blown away by her ability to blend suspense with heartache so seamlessly. As you uncover the backstories of these three women, it’s genuinely heartbreaking. But when the full truth comes to light, all you want is justice. You feel every ounce of their pain, anger, and determination. The emotional stakes are high, and the suspense kept me on the edge of my seat from start to finish. This book was more than just a thriller—it was a story of survival, rage, and reclaiming power in the face of unthinkable betrayal. I'm so glad this was the book we kicked things off with in the club. It set the bar high in the best way. If you're into psychological thrillers with a supernatural twist and a whole lot of heart, this one’s for you.

Noelle Ihli books are THE BEST. Couldn’t put this book down, very quick read… you really feel for all the characters… I was practically screaming toward the end of the book so I HIGHLY recommend. And she’s local so it’s even better 📍 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Other books of hers I’d recommend - Gray After Dark Run on Red None Left to Tell

4 stars because I read it in practically one sitting, but I wish I could get that time back. The story felt like it was told by an eighth grader who watched one episode of Dateline and decided to write a murder mystery. It was poorly written and the occasional plot holes and repetition took me way out of the story. The main characters don’t “find each other” until 2/3 of the way through the story. After that point, they mainly act as narrators for April’s story and don’t really have any actual impact. Very cool premise, but not very well executed unfortunately. :(

The character development felt soft but strong with nothing forced, nothing rushed. The story unfolds naturally, and you grow with these women in a way that feels effortless. The dual timelines and shifting perspectives (which can be confusing in so many thrillers) were handled beautifully. The transitions were smooth, intentional, and never once took me out of the story. Noelle truly kept the flow steady and immersive. This is a slower-paced thriller where you technically know “who did it”… but that doesn’t make it any less gripping. You’re still left with questions. You’re still waiting for the moment everything collides. And that anticipation builds in the best way. The ending wrapped up in a way that felt earned and satisfying which is hard to explain without spoilers, but trust me… it works. If you enjoy character-driven thrillers with emotional depth and a steady burn, I definitely recommend giving this one a read.
