I went into this book completely blind and was shocked by how much I loved it.
It was devastatingly tragic.
My heart hurt by the end of it just imagining women that have gone through this.
The author does a great job portraying these 3 different women and their stories. It was definitely a thriller, I felt my heart race several time through some of the tougher scenes.
I recommend if you’re looking for a fast paced thriller just check trigger warnings first!

Ask for Andrea holds a special place in my heart—it was the very first book my book club ever read, and what a powerful choice it turned out to be. Going into it, I was a little hesitant. Multiple perspectives usually trip me up, and I was worried I’d get confused. But Noelle W. Ihli handled it masterfully. Each voice felt distinct and purposeful, making it easy to follow the intertwined stories without feeling lost. I won’t give any spoilers (because let’s be honest, nobody likes those), but the fact that the story is told from the perspective of ghosts was something totally fresh for me—and I loved it. It was eerie, emotional, and completely captivating. It also happened to be my first time reading anything by Noelle Ihli, and I was blown away by her ability to blend suspense with heartache so seamlessly. As you uncover the backstories of these three women, it’s genuinely heartbreaking. But when the full truth comes to light, all you want is justice. You feel every ounce of their pain, anger, and determination. The emotional stakes are high, and the suspense kept me on the edge of my seat from start to finish. This book was more than just a thriller—it was a story of survival, rage, and reclaiming power in the face of unthinkable betrayal. I'm so glad this was the book we kicked things off with in the club. It set the bar high in the best way. If you're into psychological thrillers with a supernatural twist and a whole lot of heart, this one’s for you.

Noelle W. Ihli's Ask for Andrea takes a familiar serial killer thriller and twists it into something much more supernatural. Three murdered women refuse to move on after death and instead work together to stop the man who killed them before another victim disappears forever. The ghostly investigation angle gives the novel an eerie energy right from the start. Watching Brecia, Meghan, and Skye piece together memories from their lives and deaths added a layer of emotional justice that made the story stand apart from other fast-paced thrillers. The pacing moves at lightning speed. I flew through this immersion read in a single sitting because the chapters keep pushing forward with cliffhangers, danger, and mounting tension. James Carson’s use of dating apps to lure women into fake romances before murdering them felt unsettlingly believable. The idea that his victims become the ones hunting him created a satisfying metaphor about victims reclaiming power after being silenced. The audiobook narration from Allison Delaney worked well for the suspense heavy atmosphere. Her performance carries a constant breathless urgency that fit the fear and panic woven through the story. She keeps the tension high during the investigation scenes and helps the audiobook maintain momentum from beginning to end. The emotional depth never quite matched the speed of the plot. The story moves so quickly that the characters rarely feel fully developed before the next twist arrives. Several reveals felt predictable early on and some of the connections between clues did not feel as polished as I wanted. The ending also frustrated me. One victim’s murder remains unresolved while the others receive closure which left the conclusion feeling uneven instead of satisfying. Ask for Andrea works best as a quick binge thriller with a supernatural edge rather than a deeply layered mystery. The concept carries the novel further than the twists themselves. Though the ghostly revenge angle makes it memorable enough to stand out in a crowded thriller market. Pick this up if you enjoy fast-paced thrillers, ghostly revenge stories, serial killer cat-and-mouse tension, or supernatural mysteries that feel perfect for a one-day binge listen.

Highly raved about book. I had high expectations going in to this. The ending was really great. I would have liked to have read some chapters in Aprils POV. The book could get confusing at times.

Told by the POV of women who were murdered by a man as they try to help catch him from the other side. Really good with the perfect amount of suspense with stories making you empathize to the point of tears for these women and their families. A unique perspective in catching a killer.
