Run on Red

A rural country road. No cell signal for miles. A terrifying game of cat-and-mouse.

By the time Laura and Olivia notice the headlights tailing them through the hills, it’s too late. What seems, at first, like a case of road rage quickly unfolds into a heart-pounding chase—and a battle for survival.

Who are the men in the truck? What do they want? And can Laura and Olivia outrun—and outsmart—them long enough to call for help, even if it means taking their chances in the hills on foot?

As their situation grows more perilous, the girls realize that the real terror has only just begun. But flight won’t save them from their pursuers. If they’re going to make it home alive, they'll have to fight.

After enjoying Ask For Andrea, I jumped on the opportunity to listen to the ALC for Run On Red as well! This book had me hooked from the beginning!! 🙌 However, the edge of your seat feeling I was having initially started to fizzle out once they weren’t on the road anymore and it all became a bit predictable. 🫠 The narration I have to say was excellent though! Check it out if you want a good thriller to listen to! 👏 Thank you to Simon Maverick Audio for the opportunity to listen to the ALC in exchange for my honest review! ❤️

This book kept my pulse pounding, wondering what could happen next. Though taking place in 2006, it's scary to think how easily something like being stalked and kidnapped happens in our world - even with everyone having cell phones.

Any book that holds my attention and makes me want to keep reading automatically gets a good score. And this did exactly that.
