ernest cline is probably the best sci fi author iâve ever read books from , and this book was pretty awesome. the only thing i didnât love was the ending - it felt sorta rushed and hurt my heart a little when i realized that xavier actually died and wasnât coming back :( but all in all it was a great book and a worthwhile read :)
At first I thought it was going to be a knock off of Ender's Game from reading the back cover summary but it's not the same at all. It even makes references to Ender's Game along with all the other nostalgic shoutouts that come standard in a story by Ernest Cline. Fun read, and Will Wheaton yet again delivers a great narration in the audiobook.
