There are so many thrillers to choose from and lately I have been disappointed by them. Not so with An Anonymous Girl. It kept me guessing up until the end. All 3 of the main characters are flawed but who is truly crazy? Read it to find out but be prepared to stay up late.

Way too long and drawn out, took several days to listen to on audio book. No real thrills, highly disappointed.

Cat, mouse and an unsprung trap. The trap snaps but who is caught? mouse or cat ... Or something else? Who claims to be the the victim? Who had more to lose?

I got a copy of this book from netgalley.com for an honest review. Thank you so much for this book! I went through this book in just a few days! It would have been a few hours if only I had the time. Loved the suspense and writing style! Really started to feel the deceit and manipulation and the creepiness of it all. Loved all the different turns it took and was always wondering what could happen next. Great book!!

A solid 3 star book.

I mostly picked this book up because it's about a sketchy therapist and as someone studying to be a therapist, it seemed like it would be amusing. It was good as far as thrillers go. Nothing that was life-altering or anything, but I enjoyed reading it. The main villain seemed a bit ~much, but I guess that was just the kind of person she was and she liked playing games with people and getting revenge, much like Amy Dunne in my favorite book ever [b:Gone Girl|19288043|Gone Girl|Gillian Flynn|https:i.gr-assets.com/images/S/compressed.photo.goodreads.com/books/1554086139i/19288043._SY75_.jpg|13306276]. I did like the main character a lot and I enjoyed reading from her point of view. I felt like she was interesting and sympathetic and not annoying, as a lot of main characters can become.

I guess parts of it just seemed to drag a little bit. Not enough to really become a problem, but there were times when reading it started to feel less than exciting for me. Overall though, even if it wasn't outstanding, I enjoyed a quick "junk food" read like this book (compared to more "hearty" sort of books that I've read).
