This book is so well researched & written. I was actually able to listen to the author speak about the book recently. What an insightful & brilliant person. Not only does she delve into the life of the main character but she also beautifully conveys the individuals hardships (put into prostitution by her own Mom-for the family's survival) but also Arabella's primary focus of the importance of family & meaningful relationships. Arabella is a leader of resilience and the importance of finding beauty, purpose/meaning in life. Thanks to Ms. Shana Abe we have a much needed role model for these confusing times.
I will be certainly reading her other works & looking forward to her new book that is on the horizon. Thank you Ms. Abe!
