Very well written. Joseph J. Ellis has the best way of describing events and making metaphors for them. This book may not give a full history of Jefferson’s life but it does demystify his character and who he was in different parts of his life. I had no trouble finishing this book. I wish it went into a but more detail about his time as President but there are other books for that sort of information.
