so this is not her normal "new adult romance" genre. that much should be known. second it's a overly long book that is meant to be a thriller. I see where Jamie really tried to take it to the next level in her writing, but in trying showcase this talent she got lost in the details. I read someone's review saying it was way too long for no reason. and I have to say that I agree. so many details splayed out that made and had no consequence later on in the story. usually thrillers make all the long and tedious details worth it, but there was no aha moment. well let me take that back, that friggin plot twist at the end was the mother of all plot twist. I mean like wow. but..... otherwise there was no cohesiveness to the bulk of the story. I'm proud I finished and got through it. if you want a plot twist to give you whiplash and have the patience for story telling. I say do it. or just DM me I'll tell you on what page to actually start the book. lol

I loved every part about it! It had a plot twist at the end which I didn't suspect at all but it was also the big secret she kept from everyone. But overall very good book.
